Before You Upgrade to Office 2000Strategies for Sharing Files with Other ApplicationsBy installing the correct converters during Microsoft Office 2000 Setup, users of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint can import data and formatting from files saved in other file formats. Note Converters only import PowerPoint presentations; they do not export presentations to other file formats. However, PowerPoint 2000 users can save a presentation as text or graphics to mimic the export function. Then, Harvard Graphics and Lotus Freelance users can open the text or graphics file.
